bir işlem is the numbers round of bir kelime bir işlem ("one word, one operation"), a turkish tv quiz that has run for decades. it's the turkish version of france's des chiffres et des lettres, the same format as the uk's countdown.

you get six numbers and a three-digit target, and race the clock to reach it with + − × ÷. each number can be used once, and every step has to stay a whole, positive number. this checks every combination in a split second.
